When I came to power yoga practice at the very end of my 10 years of battling with an eating disorder, it helped me create a sense of self that was never there before," says Chelsea. "I started to feel my body, and I started to understand that I could use my body. My yoga practice created a sense of wholeness and connection, through breath, through the movement, and ultimately helped my see my body in a different way. Like the weight, shifting my weight, even the word 'weight' resonated differently in my mind after that.
